Ceratosaurus Wild Roar
Ceratosaurus is the horn-nosed predator that shared the Late Jurassic with Allosaurus and Stegosaurus, and it also had a feature almost no other meat-eating dinosaur had: a line of bony armour down its back. Mattel added it to the second Wild Roar wave of Jurassic World Epic Evolution as a lime-green figure with dark blue stripes, a roar sound and an attack motion. Armour Check: A Predator With Plates
Most meat-eating dinosaurs had no armour. Ceratosaurus did.
Its upper teeth were so long that some scientists think it may have hunted large prey with slashing bites.
What Is Wild Roar?
Wild Roar is the mid-sized assortment of Mattel’s Epic Evolution line. Each figure has a roaring sound, an attack motion and movable joints, and runs on small button cell batteries. Like every Epic Evolution figure, it comes with a DNA code that unlocks the animal in the Jurassic World Play App.
Ceratosaurus came in the second Wild Roar wave of Epic Evolution, alongside Parasaurolophus, Pachyrhinosaurus and Majungasaurus.
Paint and Colours
A bright, jungle scheme. Ceratosaurus is lime green all over, with dark blue-grey tiger stripes across the back, legs and tail. The nose horn and teeth are white and the mouth is red.

Head and horn
The head is large with a blade-like horn on the nose, bony bumps above the eyes and an opening jaw.
Body and armour
A row of small bumps runs down the spine, a nod to the real bony plates. The arms are short and the tail is deep.

About Ceratosaurus
Ceratosaurus was named in 1884 by Othniel Charles Marsh from a skeleton found in the Morrison Formation of Colorado, USA. The name means horned lizard.
It lived in the Late Jurassic, about 153 to 148 million years ago, in North America and Portugal. It was about 5.3 to 7 m long.
Ceratosaurus was a theropod, a meat-eating dinosaur. It shared its world with Allosaurus, Torvosaurus and Stegosaurus.
