Most of the Jurassic World Survival line depicts mutated dinosaurs tied to the Survival PS5 game concept, with exaggerated features and unusual colouration. The Real Feel Reimagined figures are the exception: part of the Legacy Collection Re-Imagined format, they aim at screen accuracy and premium construction instead of spectacle. Verdict — Should You Buy It?

If you want a Triceratops that looks like the one from the films, this is the one to get. The Real Feel skin gives it a weight and softness the hard-shell figures cannot match, the sculpt is classic and robust, and the restrained grey-and-cream paint keeps it looking like an animal rather than a toy. It is the quietest figure in the Survival range — and for a lot of collectors, that will be exactly the appeal.

About the Triceratops

Triceratops — “three-horned face” — was one of the last dinosaurs to evolve before the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction, living in what is now western North America. Adults reached 8 to 9 metres (26 to 30 feet) in length and weighed somewhere between 6 and 12 tonnes, making it one of the heaviest land animals of its time.

Its signature features are the two long brow horns, the shorter nasal horn and the enormous bony frill at the back of the skull. That frill has been argued over for more than a century: defence against Tyrannosaurus, an anchor for jaw muscles, a display structure for recognising other Triceratops — most likely some combination of all three. Fossil frills bearing healed tyrannosaur bite marks suggest the defensive role was at least real.
