Mutadon Destruction Pack Jurassic World Survival Review
The Destruction Pack is the Ultimate Damage take on the Mutadon, and the first Mattel release of the species: two figures in one set, one with the wings open and one with them folded, at a noticeably larger scale than the Strike Attack version that followed. Both are finished in a dark grey and fitted with damage indicators that light up and make sound.

🎮 About the Survival Line
The Jurassic World Survival line depicts mutated versions of dinosaurs, tied to the Survival PS5 game concept. The Mutadon needs no mutating: it is already a hybrid, introduced in Jurassic World Rebirth as a lab-made cross between a raptor and a pterosaur, and it sits at the centre of the Survival range. Ultimate Damage is the sub-line built around battle damage — figures with indicators that light up and make sound when the creature takes a hit.
⚖️ Destruction Pack vs Strike Attack
There are now three Mattel Mutadons: this Destruction Pack, the later Strike Attack single figure, and an announced Hammond Collection version. Against the Strike Attack, the Destruction Pack wins on scale and on content:

The Strike Attack answers back with a single, genuinely excellent trick: a button on the back drives a forward head-and-neck lunge with a simultaneous jaw snap. If that motion is what you want, the Destruction Pack cannot give it to you. If you want two Mutadons, at size, with the light-and-sound damage gimmick, this is the set.

About the Mutadon
These things were created in our lab. Half raptor, half pterosaur. The DNA was never meant to be combined this way.
The Mutadon is a fictional hybrid introduced in Jurassic World Rebirth (2025) and central to the Jurassic World Survival toy line. It is not based on any real prehistoric species: it is a genetic hybrid combining a dromaeosaurid theropod with a pterosaur, producing a bipedal predator with membranous wings, a beaked skull and the killing claw of the raptor lineage. In the film’s lore, Mutadons were created in an abandoned InGen laboratory as part of unauthorised gene-splicing experiments, pairing raptor intelligence and agility with the aerial capability of pterosaurs.
In Rebirth, Mutadons are pack hunters that use their wings for short bursts of flight or gliding rather than sustained pursuit, preferring to run prey down on their legs while the wings handle balance, sudden direction changes and intimidation displays. They are shown as highly social and coordinated, capable of flushing prey into ambushes set by other members of the pack.
