This new Kosmoceratops Strike Attack brings the beloved ceratopsian into the Survival line, taking an already well-defended dinosaur and adding an extra layer of mutation and bionic-style armour on top. 🎮 About the Survival Line
The Jurassic World Survival line depicts mutated versions of dinosaurs, tied to the Survival PS5 game concept, with exaggerated features, unusual colouration, fins, ridges or armour added on top of the real animal. Kosmoceratops is an unusual case: it was already one of the most heavily ornamented dinosaurs that ever lived, so the Survival treatment had to go further still — hence the separate armour piece bolted across its back.
Paint & Colour Scheme
The figure runs a two-tone green scheme. The main body, legs and tail are a darker shade of green, contrasted by a lighter green used on the head, the frill and the Survival armour piece across the back. The numerous horns and the beak are picked out in a pale white.
Splitting the greens that way is a smart call: it separates the ornamented front end from the bulk of the animal, so the frill and all those horns still read clearly instead of disappearing into a single block of colour.

Should You Buy It?
A good pick if you want something other than another theropod on the shelf. Kosmoceratops is an underused species in the Jurassic World lines, the two-tone green keeps the frill and all those horns legible, and the goring head action is one of the few Strike Attack features that genuinely matches the animal it is attached to. The added Survival armour is the part that will divide people — a dinosaur this ornamented arguably did not need any more decoration.

About the Kosmoceratops
“This is the Kosmoceratops, or ‘ornate horned face.’ It already had more horns than a traffic jam, but for the Survival line, we gave it even more armor. It’s less of a dinosaur and more of a walking ‘everything’ bagel, but with spikes. And a bad attitude.”

Kosmoceratops — the name means “ornate horned face” and is said koz-mo-SEH-ra-tops — is a horned, plant-eating dinosaur of the Late Cretaceous, known from the Kaiparowits Formation of southern Utah and formally described in 2010. It is best remembered for its head: a short frill edged with a row of hook-like horns that curl forward and down over the brow, on top of the usual ceratopsian brow horns and nose horn. That arrangement makes it one of the most heavily ornamented horned dinosaurs ever found, and it is almost certainly display equipment rather than weaponry — a signal to rivals and mates rather than a defence against predators.
By ceratopsian standards it was a mid-sized animal, around 4.5 metres (15 feet) long and roughly 1,200 kg (2,600 pounds), moving on four legs and cropping low vegetation with a parrot-like beak backed by batteries of shearing teeth. The Survival version keeps that silhouette and then piles a slab of mutated armour on top of it, which is either the joke or the problem depending on how you feel about the line.
