Kronosaurus Review

Dino Trackers Kronosaurus Review

Everyone likes the famous Mosasaurus especially after saving Rexy from the Indominus Rex in the Jurassic World movie.

The new marine creature in the latest Dino Trackers collection is the mighty Kronosaurus. The Kronosaurus is a toy dinosaur based on a large reptile that lived during the Early Cretaceous period.

The toy from the Wild Roar Action set runs on batteries and has 4 unique sounds to roar away. By pressing the button the Kronosaurus turns its head and bites which can be quite fun for dino battles.

The Dino Trackers Kronosaurus toy is made of scent-free and it is covered in intricate details like scales, battle scars and skin patterns. The toy is super durable which is already a standard for the recent Jurassic World iterations (excluding the Spinosaurus and his notorious tail) and can withstand even the furious play even of my son.

Overall, it is a fine addition to the marine dinosaur collection and a fun item for dinosaur enthusiasts and their little dino nerds.

Kids Appeal

Since the Mosasaurus was one of the most played-with dinosaur toys the Kronosaurus was expected to be a blast and oh my it is. The only drawback is the presence of electronics which makes it not suitable for water play.

Build Quality

The build is solid and up to the high standards of most recent Mattel products. The dinosaur figure is painted in great detail in light and dark colours with a blue accent around the eyes.

Dangerous Parts

There are no sharp and excessively hard elements on the Kronosaurus. Its teeth are not sharp to prevent sudden ER visits after a rougher play with the toy.

Material Odors

The toy has no scent or any specific bad odours.

Interactive Play

The fins of the Kronosaurus are posable and the sliding button yanks it left and right and activates its jaws to snap.

The battery operated sounds add an additional layer of entertainment which was missing in the Mosasaurus toy from the Dominion collection.

Fun Factor

Funny looking sea dinosaur with sounds and snapping action is pretty fun in my book.
