The Real Feel Reimagined from the Survival Legacy Collection brings rubber construction, a wire-poseable tail, dual-tone gold highlighting, blue accents, multiple sounds and dramatically improved arm articulation — enough to make every previous mainline Indoraptor feel like a prototype. 🎮 About the Survival Line
Jurassic World Survival is Mattel’s 2026 toy line, tied directly to the upcoming Jurassic World Survival PS5 game. It continues the Legacy Collection Re-Imagined format established in Rebirth: classic Jurassic World creatures brought back with elevated construction, revised colourways and Real Feel builds on selected figures. The Indoraptor is one of the headline releases of the line.

Paint & Colour Scheme
The Re-Imagined colour scheme is the first major upgrade this figure delivers. The standard Indoraptor is a black body with a single gold streak; this version keeps that foundation but adds layers that make it feel genuinely fresh.
The most notable detail is the dual-tone gold — darker along the lower edge, brighter above. The Indoraptor just loves the bling. Blue accents appear across the body, adding another layer of contrast against the black base, and the red marking around the eye orbit is present and accurate to the film design. There is also a subtle glitter element in the arms that gives them a metallic sheen in direct light.
Sculpt & Detail
Head and Face
The head sculpt carries the detailing quality you would expect from a premium Mattel release. The lower jaw articulates smoothly, revealing well-sculpted teeth with the sickly, ragged quality accurate to the film design. The skin texture on the neck is impressive, with fine detail visible across the entire surface. The overall impression from the head alone is of a figure modelled with genuine care for the source material.
Body and Quills
Moving down the neck and body, the shiny paint treatment gives the figure a slightly unusual vibe that works very well in person. The quills along the back of the neck and head are softer than on any previous Indoraptor and sit more naturally — I have previously punctured my toes on Indoraptor quills while walking through my son’s room at night, and I do not recommend it.
There is a skin flap detail on the arm area, rendered in the same soft rubbery material as the body, that adds an organic quality missing from hard plastic figures.
Arms, Legs and Tail
The legs feel slightly firmer than the body, with less of the rubbery quality, but they move sideways and the ankle rotates cleanly. The tail is the star of the lower body: wire construction means it can be bent to any angle and holds the pose completely, whether sweeping to the side in an aggressive display or coiling slightly for a crouching stance. It does sit slightly short for the species, though that is not a significant visual issue at this size. Skin texture and scale detail through the lower body are crisp and well executed.

The articulation is phenomenal and very poseable: an articulated jaw, a wire tail, arms that work in any direction without visible joints — and sounds.
The button on the upper body triggers multiple roar effects. They vary across activations and are loud and varied in tone. There are no light effects alongside them, but the audio quality alone is impressive and adds significant play and display value.

The Survival Indoraptor Real Feel Reimagined is the definitive mainline Indoraptor Mattel has produced. The dual-tone gold, the blue accents, the seamless arm articulation, the Real Feel body, the wire tail and the sound effects come together as a genuinely cohesive package that improves on every previous version in almost every way. The tail is slightly short, and that is the only real criticism. If you collect Indoraptor figures, this one belongs at the front of the shelf.

About the Indoraptor

The Indoraptor was a hybrid created by Dr Henry Wu in the basement laboratory of Lockwood Manor. Engineered from the recovered genome of the Indominus rex combined with additional Velociraptor DNA, it was designed as a military weapon capable of responding to laser targeting and audio commands. The prototype, however, lacked the social conditioning Wu had intended — a weapon without a handler, driven entirely by instinct and conditioning, and deeply aggressive. It killed not because it was hungry but because it had been bred and abused to do so.
Growing to roughly 7 metres in length and 2 metres in height, the Indoraptor had echolocation for tracking prey in darkness, razor-sharp sickle claws inherited from its Velociraptor lineage, and the cunning of the Indominus. Its appearance — primarily black with a gold streak running from neck to tail, red markings around the eyes and quills along the neck — made it immediately iconic. The Survival Re-Imagined version takes that recognisable design and elevates it with dual-tone gold, blue accents and a premium Real Feel build.
