Zora Bennett & Velociraptor Mattel Jurassic World Rebirth Zora Bennett & Velociraptor Story Pack
The second Rebirth Story Pack pairs a brand new Zora Bennett with the Rebirth Velociraptor and two accessories. Zora is the clear reason to own this set, arriving in a distinct military outfit with a convincing Scarlett Johansson likeness and visible arm musculature. The Raptor is reviewed in full below with a clear note upfront: it is identical to the figure in the vehicle set.
How Does It Compare to the Dominion Owen & Beta Pack?
The human-plus-raptor Story Pack format is one Mattel has used across multiple lines, but Owen Grady and Velociraptor Beta from Jurassic World Dominion set the benchmark for this format. The Zora Bennett set is a hint of how Mattel are constantly improving their human figures’ visual appearance.

About the toy
1. Sculpt
While our primary focus is usually the dinosaurs, we have to be realistic: the real draw here is the Scarlet Johansson figure. Since the Velociraptor included is identical to the one in the previous playset, I won’t spend too much time on it; however, if you’d like a deep dive into the raptor’s details, you can read more about it here.
In this play set Mattel has made a convincing attempt at capturing Scarlett Johansson’s likeness, and the result is pretty amazing for the tiny scale of the figure. The eyes, mouth, eyebrows, and lips are all individually painted and placed with enough precision to read as the character rather than a generic face. The hair is styled in a ponytail with good surface texture on the individual strands, given a blonde tone and is painted perfectly. Neck articulation is present, allowing left and right rotation as well as limited forward and back movement.
This Zora is clearly distinct from the Spinosaurus Danger set version in both outfit and feel. The military-style look uses a layered color scheme across several zones of the figure.
The overall impression is a figure where Mattel has made a genuine effort to color the outfit as a complete, layered look rather than a single flat tone.
Mentioned it above but one of the more notable improvements over older Mattel human figures is the visible musculature in Zora’s arms. The definition through the forearm and upper arm is clearly present and adds physical realism that was less common in earlier entries in the line. A very detailed figure, to say the least.
2. Articulation
The articulation is generous for a human figure in this format. The full arm swivel at both the shoulder and elbow allows a wide range of poses with the rifle. The midsection rotation and leg split range make action poses viable. The knee swivel is a useful addition that helps with dynamic stances.
- Neck (left, right, limited forward and back)
- Arms out from body (swivel)
- Elbows (forward, back, swivel)
- Midsection (rotation)
- Legs (forward, back, splits)
- Knees (forward, back, swivel)
Verdict Should I buy it?
It depends almost entirely on where you stand with the Raptor. Zora Bennett is a strong human figure, easily recommended on her own merits: the facial likeness works, the outfit is well-painted across multiple tones, the arm musculature is a genuine step forward for the format, and the rifle is an excellent accessory.
If you do not already have the vehicle set Raptor, this is a solid, complete package. If you do, you are essentially paying for a duplicate Raptor alongside the Zora figure, and the value calculation shifts accordingly.

About the Velociraptor
Velociraptor earned its fearsome reputation not from its size, as it measures only 4 meters in length and is overshadowed by larger and less intimidating dinosaur species. However, its ferocity and intelligence set it apart. Equipped with large, sharp teeth and sickle-shaped claws, Velociraptor is an exceptionally efficient predator, primarily targeting herbivorous dinosaurs like Protoceratops. Nevertheless, its limited strength means it is unlikely to engage in combat with larger or heavily armored dinosaurs.
The initial discovery of Velociraptor took place in 1923 by Peter Kaisen during an expedition to the Gobi Desert in Outer Mongolia, conducted in collaboration with the American Museum of Natural History. Kaisen unearthed a complete skull and a toe claw, which were subsequently sent to Henry Fairfield Osborne at the museum in New York. The specimen was then named Velociraptor, meaning ‘swift plunderer,’ referencing its impressive speed and predatory behavior.
Fossils of Velociraptor have solely been found within the Djadochta Formation in Mongolia, indicating that this genus inhabited the region approximately 70-74 million years ago, during the Late Cretaceous period. The climate during this time was desert-like, prompting Velociraptor to gravitate towards streams and rivers where its prey would gather in search of vegetation.

Zora Bennett is played by Scarlett Johansson in Jurassic World Rebirth. The Mattel figure makes a reasonable attempt at capturing her likeness, with the face, hair color, and overall proportions reading as the character at action figure scale.
Yes, entirely. The Story Pack Zora arrives in a military-style outfit with a chest piece, tactical pants, and rifle. The Danger set version has a different outfit altogether. Both are worth owning for collectors of Rebirth human figures as they represent distinct looks for the character.
No. The two Raptors appear completely identical, with the same sculpt, paint colors, striping placement, and overall finish. If you already own the vehicle set Raptor, the one in this Story Pack adds nothing new.
The set includes Zora Bennett, the Rebirth Velociraptor, a rifle, and an openable backpack. The rifle is the standout accessory with a detailed sculpt that works well for display and toy photography. The backpack is smaller than the one included with Henry Lumis and differs slightly in strap design.
