Austroraptor

“I love the Pyroraptors. I love the Atrociraptors. There’s a little one called the Moros intrepidus, who doesn’t do a ton in the movie, but whenever it shows up, I always love it.”

Austroraptor is a Unenlagiine species that roamed the Earth during the Late Cretaceous period. The first Austroraptor fossils were dug up in  Argentina.

It’s name translates to ‘Southern Theif’.
Uniquely among dromaeosaurid species; the Austroraptor exhibits physical traits associated with a wading piscivorous lifestyle; althrough the animal probably was a generalist that preferred the ate both aquatic and terrestrial prey; considering that there’s no exclusively Pisvicorus Dromaesaurid species.

Several of Austroraptor’s skull bones bear some resemblance to those of the smaller troodontids.

The front limbs of Austroraptor were short for a Dromaeosaur, with its humerus less than half the length of its femur. The relative length of its arms has caused Austroraptor to be compared to another, more famous short-armed dinosaur, Tyrannosaurus, though there is no close relationship between the two taxa.
