About Stygimoloch
Stygimoloch was named in 1983 by Peter Galton and Hans-Dieter Sues from skull pieces found in the Hell Creek Formation of Montana, USA. The name means demon from the river Styx.
It lived at the very end of the Cretaceous, about 66 million years ago, and was about 3 m long.
Stygimoloch was a pachycephalosaur, a dome-headed plant eater. Some scientists think it is a young Pachycephalosaurus.
