A set of two very different halves. The off-road vehicle is the genuine star and the reason to consider this Chase Pack; the Velociraptor that comes with it is one of the weakest raptor figures Mattel has put in a box.

The vehicle is well sculpted, the doors open, the interior is sticker-detailed, and it has good basic playability for a Jurassic World off-roader.
The Velociraptor is boring, to say the least. Personally I cannot explain why Mattel decided to release this half-baked raptor, as it does not contribute anything. The painting is boring and the old figure design is pure disappointment.
If you buy this Chase Pack, it will be for the vehicle.
🚙 The Star of the Pack: the Vehicle
The off-roader’s paint is pretty basic. I have always wondered why most Jurassic vehicles are yellow instead of green, but I guess there is something I am missing. The base colour is once again desert yellow with some orange accents on the doors and a dark gray interior.
The details — headlights, interior instrument dashboard — are all sticker-based. I am fairly used to it by now, and they look quite alright in pictures, but over time stickers tend to deteriorate and start to chip away or tear if the play gets rougher.
The sculpt is solid and pretty good looking. It fits up to two figures on the seats and a couple more on the trunk bed, the doors open, and the tyres roll smoothly.
1. The Velociraptor — Paint and Sculpt
Two colours. That is the whole scheme. Calling it boring would be an understatement — it almost does not exist, because the base is a slightly darker shade of orange with turquoise shading on top of the head and at the tail.
The sculpt looks exactly the same as the second Rebirth Velociraptor. The details across the body are identical and at least look decent enough, but the whole figure reads like a template — something far from finished.
The one genuinely positive feature is the eyes — they look perfect compared to previous releases. Which, honestly, just adds salt to the wound.

On the figure side: nothing. The play value in this pack lives entirely in the vehicle.

Verdict: Should I Buy It?
Only if you specifically want the vehicle. The off-road truck is the justification for this purchase — it is well made, the doors open, the sticker interior looks the part, and it is a good addition to a Jurassic World vehicle collection.
The Velociraptor is genuinely one of the weakest raptor figures in the Mattel line, and a fixed-shut, non-articulated jaw on a Jurassic World Velociraptor feels like an insult to the fans.

3. About the Velociraptor
Velociraptor earned its fearsome reputation not from its size — it measured only about 2 metres in length and was overshadowed by larger, less intimidating species — but from its ferocity and intelligence. Equipped with sharp teeth and sickle-shaped claws, it was an exceptionally efficient predator, primarily targeting herbivorous dinosaurs like Protoceratops. Its limited strength meant it was unlikely to engage larger or heavily armoured dinosaurs.
The initial discovery took place in 1923 by Peter Kaisen during an expedition to the Gobi Desert in Outer Mongolia, conducted with the American Museum of Natural History. Kaisen unearthed a complete skull and a toe claw, which were sent to Henry Fairfield Osborn at the museum in New York. The specimen was named Velociraptor, meaning “swift plunderer”, referencing its speed and predatory behaviour.
Fossils of Velociraptor have been found only in the Djadochta Formation in Mongolia, indicating the genus inhabited the region roughly 70–74 million years ago, in the Late Cretaceous. The climate was desert-like, so Velociraptor gravitated towards streams and rivers where its prey gathered in search of vegetation.

No. The Velociraptor in this set has no jaw articulation. The mouth is fixed permanently in a closed position with no mechanism to open it.
If you collect Jurassic World vehicles, yes. The off-road vehicle has opening doors, a sticker-detailed interior, a working steering wheel, a front winch, and a human figure peg on the back. It is the strongest element of the set by a significant margin and makes a reasonable addition to a JW vehicle fleet.
Any other Rebirth or Survival Velociraptor release is a better choice for the figure itself. The Rebirth Strike Attack and Danger Pack versions both have jaw articulation, better paint, and more complete detailing than this vehicle pack version.
