Jurassic World Survival Dimorphodon

“Meet the Dimorphodon. Think of it as a pitbull, but with wings… and a head that’s bigger than its entire body. This Survival version decided to add ‘tropical parrot’ to its list of personalities. Just don’t ask it if it wants a cracker. It’ll want your whole hand instead.”Aviary Keeper, Jurassic World

Dimorphodon

This Dimorphodon Strike Attack is an unusual take, as all of the rest of the dinosaurs we see in the Survival toy line. This iteration of the Dimorphodon takes the borring pterosaur and mix it with a parrot and voila, you now have a vibrant, Survival makeover. The color scheme is by far its most striking feature, looking more like an exotic, tropical bird than the muted versions from the movies.

The body features the Dimorphodon’s signature oversized head and long tail. Its Survival features appear to be enhanced textures, with a rugged, almost feathered or pycnofibers sculpted onto the main body, making it look more resilient.

As a Strike Attack figure, it has a button on its back that activates the wing flapping motion.

This is one of the most colorful figures in the line. The main body is a deep, dark blue. This is dramatically contrasted by a bright, fiery red “mask” covering its entire head. The wings are the centerpiece, featuring a beautiful, banded pattern that shifts from yellow at the tips, to seafoam green, and then to a light blue before meeting the dark blue of the wing’s “arm.”
