Jurassic World Survival Ceratosaurus

“Now this dinosaur is something special. Well, they’re all special, but this one stands out because of the horns on top of its head. It’s called Ceratosaurus. It kinda looks like a slightly smaller T. rex. But its bite is probably about the same.”
Claire Dearing

This is a new, mutated take on the Ceratosaurus for the Survival toy line, and it’s definitely something. Much more beefier and more menacing looking than any other iteration before from the past Mattel toys.

The new mutated mutated-looking sculpt looks incredible. The horn is humongously large and adds a lot of character to this dinosaur. The skin detail looks very rough and rugged, featuring a line of large ridges along the spine. The only drawback that I can point is the shorter tail, which looks more like a failed mutation rather than an actual body feature of a dinosaur with such size.

There are two ways to interact with this Wild Roar Ceratosauris. The roar sound and ligths get activated by a button on its side or by pressing the head down. This activates the snapping jaws action as well as several different roars and sounds, and a nice toxic looking yellowish light that glows from the side of the dinosaur’s body. Wonder what the menu was for breakfast.

Last but not least I would like to note that the paiting of the toy looks just amazing. The main body covered in gray and green tones. This is covered in a heavy black pattern that goes along the back of the dinosaur.  There are accents of toxic yellow here and there that light up as part of the Wild Roar features.
