Kaprosuchus Strike Attack
Kaprosuchus is the BoarCroc, a long-legged crocodile relative from the Sahara with huge, tusk-like teeth. Mattel added it to the first Strike Attack wave of Jurassic World Epic Evolution as a dark grey and slate-blue figure with white tusks and a press-to-strike bite. When Kaprosuchus was announced, it came with a nickname and a whole gang of strange crocodile cousins.
Its eyes faced forward and its legs were long, so it may have chased prey on land rather than lurking in water.
What Is Strike Attack?
Strike Attack is the action assortment of Mattel’s Epic Evolution line. Each figure has one built-in strike move: press the button on its back and it lunges into an attack, no batteries needed. They also have movable joints and a DNA code that unlocks the animal in the Jurassic World Play App.
Kaprosuchus came in the first Strike Attack wave of Epic Evolution, alongside Tuojiangosaurus, Guaibasaurus and Velociraptor.
Paint and Colours
A heavy, armoured look. The back and tail are a dark grey-brown with rough scutes, the legs and belly are a cooler slate blue, and the long snout is cream with big white tusks sticking up and down.

The snout is long and deep with oversized tusks at the front of both jaws. The jaw opens for the strike bite.

Kaprosuchus stands high on four long legs, more upright than a modern crocodile, with armour plates along the back and tail.

About Kaprosuchus
Kaprosuchus was named in 2009 by Paul Sereno and Hans Larsson from a skull found in the Echkar Formation of Niger. The name means boar crocodile.
It lived in the Late Cretaceous, about 95 million years ago, and was about 6 m long.
Kaprosuchus was a mahajangasuchid, a crocodyliform related to crocodiles. Its big tusks and upturned snout suggest it hunted large prey, possibly including small dinosaurs.
