Atrociraptor Jurassic World Rebirth Danger Pack Review

Toy Line: Danger Pack

Year: 2025

Ghost is arguably the most visually striking of the four Atrociraptors from Jurassic World Dominion. Her pale, speckle-laden coloration immediately calls to mind the female raptors of Jurassic Park III, and that alone makes her a fan favourite. The new one is a worthy successor in the line as a very detailed and fierce looking Atrociraptor

How Does It Compare to the Dominion Atrociraptor Versions?

Both the Dominion Rampage Pack and the Rebirth Atrociraptor Ghost share the same underlying sculpt — the stance, arm positioning, tail, and feet are identical. What differentiates them is purely the paint, the packaging context, and the overall value proposition of each release.

Head-to-Head: Dominion Atrociraptor Ghost Versions vs Rebirth Atrociraptor Ghost

Previous Mainline Versions

  • White base — slightly brighter, more vivid
  • Brown striping on neck & body
  • Heavy dark speckle pattern throughout
  • Orange eye with black pupil
  • Mouth: darker purple interior + pink tongue
  • Comes with cage, human figure & accessories
  • Feet slightly oversized

Rebirth Strike Attack Monolophosaurus

  • White base is more muted, screen-accurate tone
  • Refined striping, more restrained palette
  • Speckle pattern present but subtler
  • Articulated jaw (same feature)
  • Figure only no accessories included
  • Better overall paint QC
  • Feet still oversized

About the toy

1. Sculpt

The most pleasant surprise here is the coloration. Previous mainline releases of the Ghost Atrociraptor were slightly too bright. This one, however, is much closer to the vision from the movies than ever before.

The figure is pretty well detailed with lots of fine details from top to bottom.

The articulated jaw works smoothly and reveals is menacing teeth and tongue, a welcome detail to any dinosaur toy, actually. Other moving parts are the legs, front limbs and the tail that swivels.

Once again, the feet are a bit comically large, but obviously, this is something we will see fixed in some of the next Jurassic World Athrociraptor iterations in the future.

2. Articulation

The articulation is a bit limited but it is expected for the price range this toy is in. Here is a list of the moving parts:

  • Articulated jaw
  • Arm swivel (forward and back)
  • Leg movement (forward and back)
  • Swivel tail

Verdict Should I buy it?

The Ghost Rampage Pack is one of the best sets from the entire Dominion toy line, and that’s not faint praise given how strong that wave was overall. The Rebirth version is a bit better looking, but in terms of fun, go get the Ghost Rampage Pack from the Dominion release if you do not have it yet. Ghost herself is

About the Athrociraptor

Atrociraptor, a carnivorous dinosaur belonging to the dromaeosaurid family, originated in the late Cretaceous period. Its name, derived from Latin, translates to ‘savage thief’ highlighting the creature’s ability to capture and kill prey using rows of serrated teeth. Atrociraptor is among InGen’s ‘designer dinosaurs’ and exists in various colors. Growing to a length of approximately 4 meters, this genus has been genetically engineered to exhibit exceptional dexterity, high intelligence, and large, powerful claws, making it an incredibly efficient hunter.

The initial Atrociraptor remains were discovered in 1995 when Wayne Marshall, a local resident, unearthed a series of teeth and jaw fragments in the Horseshoe Canyon Formation located in Alberta, Canada. However, it wasn’t until 2004 that paleontologists Phillip J. Currie and David Varricchio officially described the specimen and assigned it the name Atrociraptor. Remarkably, the 1995 finding remains the sole known Atrociraptor specimen.

Around 68.5 million years ago, Atrociraptor inhabited the floodplains and swamps of Alberta, coexisting with various other dinosaurs such as Albertosaurus, Ornithomimus, and Deinonychus.
