The raptors have always been some of the scariest dinosaurs and they were portrayed like that in the Jurassic movies. However, after the Jurassic World Dominion was released we have a new nightmare creature that wakes us up in the night… the Atrociraptor.
The best way to explain the difference between the Velociraptors and the Atrociraptors is that the Velociraptors are stealthy, smart and pretty fast hunters the Atrociraptors are not stealthy at all. They are vicious and enraged like angry T-Rex in the skin of a small Velociraptor. We all know how they trashed everything on their way on the streets of Malta while they were chasing Owen.
In the last wave of Jurassic World toys we got a new Atrociraptor set coming with a truck that can be smashed and a figure of a dinosaur hunter.

Kids Appeal
My son likes the Atrociraptors for they are built like tanks. Fast, angry and destructive. There is a fully functional car and an additional figure of a soldier/hunter that can get eaten. What not to like
Build Quality
The build is solid and up to the high standards of most recent Mattel products. The figures are detailed and painted in great detail.
Dangerous Parts
There are no sharp and hard elements on the Atrociraptor. However, there are small parts like Atrociraptor’s harness and the soldier’s rifle that can get lost easily due to their tiny size.
Material Odors
No bad odours. The toy has a negative odour factor.
Interactive Play
The Atrociraptor is posable toy without any sounds. The car can get broken to provide immersive gameplay and there extra character that can be either a dinosaur hunter or a mercenary working together with the Atrociraptor.
Fun Factor
The fact that you can unleash the brute force of the Atrociraptor on to the poor truck and see the damage is awesome.
